Recycled Coffee Tin Tutorial

I started off with 1 empty tin of flavored coffee and 1 sheet of 8” x 11” Cherry Peel n Stick Real Wood Paper. This paper already has the adhesive applied and goes right through your printer!

I chose Winters Champion Digital Stamp by Studio 313, sized it and printed it on the Cherry Peel n Stick Real Wood Paper.

I cut the Cherry Real Wood Paper to size – 2-1/4” high.

I colored the digital image with Copic Markers. I did use a light hand and did not color to the edge of the image. The ink did bleed out to the images edge.

Don’t look too closely at my ‘Well Used SU Ink Pad’. ;) I sponged Creamy Caramel on the edge of the Cherry Real Wood Paper.

I peeled the Release Paper off the back of the Cherry Peel n Stick Real Wood Paper.

Line the image up and press the paper down.

And of course, I did not measure the circumference of the tin before attaching the paper so I needed to cut a little 1” strip to cover up the back.

To finish off the edges, I used some black cording I purchased at Walmart and adhered it with Beacons 3-in-1 glue. I put this on both the top and bottom edges.

I made a lasso with a SU Silver Buckle and SU Cord.

And because I completed this in 20 minutes…I made 2 more. :)
Suggested Uses: I use one for my loose change, one for my rubber bands and one for my Post It notes. I have the most organized desk…until the cat shows up!
